Trembling Before G-d portrays the lives of gay Orthodox Jews who struggle to reconcile their faith and their sexual orientation. The film follows several gay and lesbian Orthodox Jews, and includes interviews with rabbis and psychotherapists about Orthodox attitudes towards homosexuality. AMERICA ReFRAMED presents personal viewpoints and a range of voices on the nation's social issues – giving audiences the opportunity to learn from the past, understand the present, and explore new frameworks for America’s future. Followed by conversations led by host Natasha Del Toro, the series offers an unfiltered look at people rarely given a voice on national television. Funding provided by the John D. and Catherine T.
